The big storm has arrived at the southwest Washington coast. The coast will feel the worst of it from 3-9 p.m. while inland areas will feel it from 4-10 p.m. The strongest winds will only last an hour or so. While it's losing strength, it's still going to be a whopper. The storm is tracking up along the coast toward Vancouver Island.

Puget Sound: Increasing rain through the morning. Wind: light early, increasing to 20-30 mph late in the afternoon. Wind could gust around 50 mph this evening. Highs in the upper 50's.
Coast: Increasing steady rain. Very windy this afternoon and early evening. Southerly wind 25-40 mph gusting possibly to 70 mph. Highs in the 50's.
Mountains: Heavy rain and snow showers. Windy over the ridges. Highs in the 40's. Snow level at 6,000 feet. Pass wind easterly 10-20 mph.
