Get ready for the Decembrrrr chill.

More dry and sunny skies but very, very cold temperatures are moving into Western Washington tonight through Saturday.

"For tomorrow, we're going to be seeing some of our coldest temperatures in maybe about three years in the morning, upper teens and low 20s around Puget Sound," said KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott.

Friday will be dry, but much colder with Arctic air invading our skies. Afternoon highs will struggle to reach freezing in many places. Lows on Friday will again fall into the teens and 20s until Sunday, with a return to slightly warmer temperatures and rain.

"Increasing rain and snow Sunday, but it will be turning into rain later in the day into the low 40s on Sunday. Then rain just off and on as we head into the first half of next week with high temperatures in the low to mid 40s," said Marriott.
