Drivers headed over the Washington Cascades for Thanksgiving or the Apple Cup in Pullman should be prepared for snow.

KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott says snow levels will be dropping to about 3,000 feet Wednesday through Saturday and down to 2,500 feet Sunday.

The elevation of Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass is 3,022 feet. US 2 at Stevens Pass is 4,062 feet.

Marriott said heavier snowfalls could happen Thursday through Saturday. Showers should decrease Sunday.
