Several people reported seeing a funnel cloud in Snohomish County on Sunday afternoon.
People in Mill Creek and Snohomish took photos of the cloud.
Pea-sized hail was reported in the area also.
The National Weather Service took a look at the photos and said it did appear to be a funnel cloud. The radar showed some rotation with the storm cell.
But without damage reports, they could not immediately say if it was a tornado. There were no reports of damage.
The NWS said it appeared that the funnel cloud dissipated after a minute or so and did not reach the ground.
A convergence zone brought lightning strikes to the area and snow to the mountains. The snow level was about 3,000 feet.
