Amazon’s mysterious drive-up grocery store in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood looks close to completion.

Bloomberg reported Amazon’s pick up grocery locations in Seattle could open by the end of the year, and construction appears on track to meet that deadline. The project also received a temporary certificate of occupancy from the City of Seattle this week, which means Amazon can start to occupy the building, even though there’s still work to be done.

The pick up grocery store would allow customers to place online orders in what the project team calls “a new model of grocery shopping.”
