One day after reports of losing free agent tight end Jimmy Graham to the Green Bay Packers, the Seahawks are already exploring multiple options to replace the Pro Bowler.

Free agent tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins already has a visit planned to the Emerald City. But the former Washington Husky will not be the only PAC-12 tight end to meet with Seahawks, as reports indicate former Oregon Duck Ed Dickson will be flown in as well.

The tight end’s travel has already been arranged; in fact, he is scheduled to land in Seattle Wednesday evening.

Dickson, 30, had one of the best seasons of his eight-year career last year with the Panthers. Primarily used as a blocking tight end to compliment superstar Greg Olsen, Dickson hauled in 30 catches for 437 yards and a touchdown last season with Olsen on the shelf. His 14.6 yards per reception was a career-high as well.

While Dickson may not carry the upside of a Seferian-Jenkins, he brings experience and durability, having played in all 16 games over the last five seasons. He also has a strong reputation as a blocking tight end, something the Seahawks could use with their struggling offensive line.

Lastly, he is likely going to come with a lower price tag than the other marquee tight ends available.

The Seahawks will certainly explore every option they can to add a tight end, but price may play a big factor.
