The Seahawks will miss defensive end Michael Bennett for another 2-3 weeks. Bennett is having knee surgery Wednesday in Los Angeles, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Bennett hurt his knee October 16th against the Falcons. Atlanta tackle Jake Matthews chopped Bennett at the knees.

Carroll says the team will miss him.
“You can’t replace Mike Bennett. He’s a special player, he’s got so many things in him that you can’t predict. Unusual play making and the problems that he gives an opponent. He’s a unique player. I think Frank [Clark] did a nice job and was active and pretty much filled in for him, but Mike is the real deal and there’s a reason why he’s such a renowned player.”
The Seahawks hope to know more about his knee after Wednesday's surgery.
