SEATTLE -- The Washington Huskies moved up to No. 4 in both the AP and Coaches polls Sunday following their 45-17 blowout of Washington State in the Apple Cup. The Cougars fell out of the top 25.

Washington (11-1 overall, 8-1 Pac-12) prepares to face No. 9 Colorado (10-2, 8-1) in Friday's Pac-12 Championship. A win will give Washington a chance of making it into the four-team College Football Playoff for the national championship. FiveThirtyEight.com predicts UW has as a better than 90% chance of being selected to the the field with a win.

If Washington wins the Pac-12 title but is left out of the top 4 when the final rankings are revealed Dec. 4, they'll at least go to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 16 years.

Washington State (8-4, 7-2) will wait to find out which bowl game selects them. Likely destinations are the Alamo Bowl or the Foster Farms Bowl.
