Here's why you may want to consider installing a heat pump in your home

Current rebates may make it more affordable to equip your home with a ducted or ductless heat pump. Sponsored Energy Technologies.

As the temperatures get cooler, you’re probably focused on heating your home. A heat pump offers an efficient solution.

“It is electric, but it’s transferring energy,” said Branden Audet of Energy Technologies. “It’s either transferring energy in the wintertime from outside to inside, or in the summertime, it’s transferring energy from inside your home to the outside.”

A heat pump increases energy efficiency and is both heating and cooling. It helps regulate the temperature across your entire home and offers up to 400% lower operating costs compared to heating with oil or electricity.

“The heat pump is the most consistent, smooth heating and cooling you can get,” Audet said. “Think of it as a Tesla.”

It can also add value to your home. A recent study using Zillow data found that, on average, homeowners saw a 7% increase in property value when they added a heat pump.

Energy Technologies has been in business for 11 years installing ductless and ducted heat pumps.

“Whatever your situation is at your home, we can solve it,” Audet said.

Overseen by a female master electrician, Energy Technologies provides safe, reliable repairs and installations. When a customer decides to go with a heat pump, a salesperson assesses the situation, listens and provides the best options. When the installation starts, installers take precautions to ensure there is minimal mess and disruption to your home.

“We’ve had the same installers and the same crews, so all those reviews you see online, those are the crews you’re going to get.”

According to Energy Technologies, Seattle City Light and Puget Sound Energy are offering a $1500 cash rebate for oil furnace conversion and a $600 rebate for gas furnace conversions. If you don’t live in Seattle, Energy Technologies can help you find any available rebates.
