When a bunch of NASA scientists get their hands on some Halloween pumpkins, the results do not disappoint.

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab held its sixth annual pumpkin carving contest Thursday.

Some of the winners included a birthday cake themed pumpkin set, complete with candles that wished the lab a happy 80th birthday. There was also pumpkin "pi," a Ms. Pacman pumpkin, and multiple Juno and Jupiter pumpkins, one of which included Juno orbiting the Jupiter.

Pumpkin carving may not be rocket science, but these scientists sure took their tasks seriously.
