WSP nabs over 13k left lane campers this year

Washington State Patrol tweeted Thursday that troopers have pulled over 13,413 cars for left lane violations this year alone.

Left lane campers face a $136 ticket.

State law says that drivers can drive in the left lane only if you are passing a slower vehicle that is on the right.

Washington state is one of 10 U.S. states to restrict travel in a freeway’s left lane only to passing vehicles.
