Thunderstorms brought some wild weather to Puget Sound's convergence zone Monday afternoon.
While Seattle got cloudy and partly sunny skies, cities in the North Sound were suddenly pounded with hail and heavy rain. In Edmonds, the rain caused urban flooding, leaving cars and pedestrians to navigate through feet of water.
"Manhole covers have come unsecured and are floating on 220th/HWY99 near Winco. Use caution once water drains away," Edmonds police tweeted.
Folks took to social media to share the sudden weather turn.
