Lincoln High School's field trip through China sent the students back to school Sunday.

Students from Hong Kong's Shun Tak Fraternal Association's Yung Yao College performed for the 90-plus Tacoma teens before giving them a tour of the school.

"I'm never going to let go of the dancers," said Abranna Romero, after taking selfies with Chinese students she just met.

"We're going to be pen pals," said Romero.

Chinese President Xi Jinping invited the Lincoln High School students to visit him in Beijing during his visit to their campus in September of 2015.
The Chinese government is paying for the trip.

Following Hong Kong, the tour continues to Fuzhou, a sister-city of Tacoma, before going to Chengdu and Beijing.
