Sweeney todd: behind the scenes

BRAZOS VALLEY, Texas - If you think all stage musicals are bright lights, jazz kicks, and spirit fingers, then you have never seen Stephen Sondheim's multiple Tony Award winning Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

BRAZOS VALLEY, Texas - If you think all stage musicals are bright lights, jazz kicks, and spirit fingers, then you have never seen Stephen Sondheim's multiple Tony Award winning Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

The chilling tale of murder and mayhem is in its final weekend at The Theatre Company Bryan College Station.

"All of our shows are a lot of work to put together. We only take five to six weeks to put it together so its rehearsals almost every night", said leading actor Roger Pine.

The musical, which is directed by Randy Wilson and Adrienne Dobson, consists of over 50 cast and crew members that have spent the past five weeks working outside of their day jobs to make these thrilling performances possible.

"So there’s a lot of moving parts and it’s such a team effort that getting the show together is always a minor miracle," said Pine.
