President Trump visits Richfield to talk infrastructure

RICHFIELD, Ohio -- President Donald Trump returned to Northeast Ohio Thursday afternoon to speak in Richfield.

Trump left Washington around 12:05 p.m. and arrived at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport at 1:15 p.m.

The focus of President Trump’s visit was to promote his infrastructure plan to rebuild and repair the nation’s roads and bridges. He asked Congress in February to consider using a $200 billion federal investment to leverage more than $1 trillion in state, local and private funding to pay for improvements to the nation's infrastructure, such as roads, highways, bridges, ports and airports.

President Trump will depart Richfield around 2:40 p.m. He will then fly out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport around 3:20 p.m. to Florida.
