An iconic Seattle deli closes its doors Friday after 47 years in business.

Bakeman's Restaurant on Second Avenue and Cherry Street announced it was closing in early December.

Restaurant owner Jason Wang, who is called the “Sandwich Nazi,” is retiring.

Wang earned his nickname after the Seinfeld episode featuring the “Soup Nazi.”

On the deli's final day in business, the line for lunch was out the door. Wang says business has been busy ever since he announced his retirement.
