Ride-sharing service "Lyft" has launched in Olympia.
To celebrate, Lyft is offering new passengers $5 off their first ride. New users can enter the code LYFTLOVE18 in the "promos" section of the app or visit www.lyft.com/invite/LYFTLOVE18.
The company says a study of 20 markets that Lyft operates in shows drivers have earned over $1.5 billion and more than $200 million in tips.
"Lyft" says the study also shows that its passengers have pumped more than three quarters of a billion dollars into economies where the service operates.
