We will be battling some patchy ice on the roads as well as morning fog the next few mornings.

With overnight lows near or below the freezing mark, frost can develop on car windows, roads, and sidewalks. Use extra caution during your morning commute.

A strong ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate our weather over the next week or so. This means very little (if any) rain chance during this stretch.

It's difficult to determine exact conditions in the morning, because there's different weather happening neighborhood to neighborhood.

However, the best chance for slick roads is for places away from Puget Sound, which is a warmer body of water, and where the wind would tend to be lighter, which promotes cold air sinking to the surface, producing fog/frost.
