6-year-old Ali is a bundle of energy, and is eager to please and learn. She loves dancing, singing and playing with dolls.

Ali is one of 1,400 kids in Washington who is available for adoption.

Counselors say she needs a family who understands how trauma in a child's past can impact their development and well-being. Parents who are calm, patient and have sense of humor would be a great fit.
