MUKILTEO -- Service at the Mukilteo ferry terminal was restored Saturday after a truck damaged a car transfer span control box at the dock.
The dock was closed around 9:30 a.m.
Maintenance crews worked to restore service to the route by 12 p.m.
During the closure travelers trying to get on or off Whidbey Island were told to drive around using Deception Pass, as the Port Townsend/Coupeville route is closed this weekend for construction.
