Baby Moore missing Longview

LONGVIEW, Wash. Police are searching for a Longview mom who they believe was hiding her baby daughter after she had been ordered to turn the child over to child protective services.

The baby, 1-year-old Diamond Lily Moore, was dropped off at the house of a family friend by an unknown woman just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office.

Christina Char Moore, 30, was served a court order to give up custody of her daughter on Monday. The court documents listed concerns over alleged drug use.

But she did not turn the child over as ordered and now authorities are looking for Moore.

She was described as standing about 5-foot-5-inches tall, weighing around 145 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has any information about Moore was urged to call the Cowlitz Sheriff's Office at 360-577-3092 or Crime Stoppers at 360-577-1206.
