Covington residents can't wait to "Eat More Chikin."

A little rain can't dampen the excitement for a new chicken joint in Covington, Washington.

Campers are lined outside Chick-Fil-A before Thursday's Grand Opening on 272nd at Wax. The "First 100" campers are eligible for a year of free food, with proof of address.

KING 5 photojournalist Doug Dillon checked out the line around 4 p.m. Wednesday and says the first 100 campers are already in line.

The Grand Opening is Thursday, April 12th at 17440 SE 272nd St.

The fast-food chain is also collecting new and gently used children's books to benefit a nearby hospital. Whoever brings the most books wins a prize from the Chick-Fil-A franchise.
