Blast of colder weather headed for Western Washington

Snow levels could drop to 500-1,000 feet on late Thursday.or early Friday.

After a wet and blustery day on Sunday, the weather will quiet down today.

In the lowlands, rain showers gradually decrease. It should be a mostly dry end to the day today.

By Tuesday morning, another front moves in bringing back the rain in time for the morning commute. It should be showery and breezy Wednesday.

In the mountains, the snow level will be around 2,000 feet, with a little snow today, Total snow accumulations should be 2-6 inches.

Cooler temperatures arrive Thursday, so expect a showery day along with temps dipping into the lower 40s. The snow level may drop as low as 500-1,000 feet late Thursday into Friday morning, however, it doesn't look like any significant accumulations below 1,000 feet.

The weekend looks like rain off and on and warmer with highs pushing 50!
