Baby born during snow storm celebrates birthday with ambulance crew

Baby Eleanor got to spend her 1st birthday with a very special crew.
Baby Eleanor celebrated her first birthday with some very special guests.

A baby girl from Kingston celebrated her 1st birthday with some special guests: the ambulance crew who brought her into the world.

It was a cold day in February 2017 when baby Eleanor was ready to arrive. The only problem: mom Lakeisha was snowed in and couldn't get to the hospital.

Dad called 911 and dispatchers began giving him instructions for delivering Eleanor on their living room floor. Luckily, emergency help arrived and loaded mom into an ambulance.

But the excitement wasn't over yet. Baby Eleanor couldn't wait for the hospital and was born near the intersection of State Routes 307 and 305 on the way to Silverdale.

After an eventful birth, the family wanted to celebrate Eleanor's first birthday with the delivery crew. They brought cake to the fire station and got to soak in smiles from the happy birthday girl.
