A 27-year-old man is sought after a 28-year-old woman was shot in East Bremerton early Thursday morning.
Witnesses identified the suspect to police as Kip Green.
According to Lieutenant Mike Davis with the Bremerton Police Department, the shooting occurred in a 7/11 parking lot near the intersection of Wheaton & Sylvan.
Green fled on foot towards the View Crest Village neighborhood, according to police. A K-9 unit was unable to find Green.
Detectives believe three other witnesses fled the scene on foot and in a car. The car seen leaving the scene is a white 1998 Buick Century.
The woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
