Theft suspects at a Seattle Costco got a big surprise when they tried to make off with a haul — and fell into the waiting hands of police. The whole incident was captured on police body cameras.
A pack of Seattle officers greeted the suspects at the emergency exit, where the suspects were allegedly trying to make off with boxes of computers and a vacuum cleaner. The merchandise is worth about $2,200.
Store workers called police when they recognized one of the suspects and told police he had stolen items from the store previously.
The Seattle Police Department released video of the arrest on Friday.
A 30-year-old man, 21-year-old woman, and the female driver of the alleged getaway car were arrested.
Officers say the suspects may also be responsible for another theft at a different Costco the same day.
