Dr. Allison Case of Northwest Trek was voted Best Veterinarian by the voters of Western Washington for Best of Western Washington 2016!

From an owl's talons, a bobcat's teeth to a toad's eyes, Dr. Allison Case has seen it all at Northwest Trek.

"Whether it's a charismatic, semi-mega vertebrate like a moose...they're all equally stunning, equally special, equally magical," says Case.

Northwest Trek has a lot of animals so she does have to have a wide breadth of knowledge to take care of them all.

Her typical day though is a bit different than a traditional veterinarian who works in a clinic though; she has to decide through high powered binoculars what the animals need. Wendi Mello is extremely thankful for the talented veterinarian, "Everything she accomplishes is a small miracle in my mind, like when she pulls blood from a bat that weighs 6 grams."

In her typically modest style, Allison is quick to deflect praise, but the animals of Northwest Trek know they are in good hands.
