Northwest Flower & Garden Show offers taste of spring

Spring is just around the corner, and the time to start planning your garden is now.

The 2018 Northwest Flower & Garden Show kicked off Wednesday with one acre of show gardens to get your creative gardening juices flowing.

The show features over 300 exhibitors with plants and garden supplies for sale and a resource center to connect with other gardeners.

Seminars cater to everyone from beginner to advanced, including sustainable gardening, techniques, and best Pacific Northwest plant picks.

The show takes place February 7-11 at the Washington State Convention Center at 705 Pike Street, Seattle. It’s open Wednesday – Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can buy tickets online, at a local retailer, by phone at 800-343-6973, or at the show in the atrium lobby. Adult tickets are $24, a two-day pass is $34, youth tickets (ages 13-17) are $7, and group tickets (minimum of 20 tickets) are $17 each.
