It's February 6, and that can only mean one thing – it's National Frozen Yogurt Day.
Frozen yogurt, or Froyo, has gained in popularity over the years as a more healthy alternative to ice cream, that is until you hit the toppings bar.
Frozen yogurt stores across the country are offering discounts of the delicious treat to celebrate.
At the Top It Yogurt Shoppe in Snohomish you can choose from half a dozen flavors and top your Froyo with delicious treats from fruit and boba to chocolate and candies.
"There is a lot of temptation at the toppings bar," said Haley Rice of Top It Yogurt.
The local frozen yogurt shop recently celebrated their five year anniversary and is offering $5 fill-ups. Literally, you can fill your cup with as much Froyo and toppings and will only pay $5. Considering a full cup of frozen yogurt with toppings added can cost anywhere from $7 to $15, its a steal of a deal.
