Bestselling author Jonathan Evison's latest novel, Lawn Boy, spotlights a young landscaper's quest to achieve the American Dream and takes on the issues of poverty, race, and class.
The book is set in Washington state, not surprising for the author, who calls the Olympic Peninsula "home."
His previous book, The Revised Fundamentals of Caring, was made into a film starring Paul Rudd.
