M's outfielder Mitch Haniger talks baseball

Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger previews the upcoming season, as well as his stellar start with the team.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger had one heck of a rookie season, despite some injury issues. He finished the 2017 regular season with a .282 average, 16 home runs, 47 RBIs, 58 runs scored and five stolen bases. Mitch sat down with Margaret to chat about his stellar start, and preview the upcoming M's season.

Mariners pitchers and catchers report to spring training on February 14th, followed by position players on February 19th. The first spring training game is scheduled for Friday, February 23rd, versus the San Diego Padres. First pitch is at 1:10 pm Arizona time / 12:10 pm Seattle time. The M's home opener takes place on Thursday, March 29th, against the Cleveland Indians. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm, but get to Safeco Field early to enjoy all the pre-game festivities. Tickets are still available.
