Seattle — According to the National MS Society, at least two to three times more women than men are diagnosed with the disease. Multiple Sclerosis attacks the brain and spinal cord, and is the most common neurological disease leading to disability in young adults. The exact cause of multiple sclerosis is still unknown, but Walk MS is aimed at changing that.

Walk MS participant Jeanne Berry was diagnosed with MS in 2002. She joins New Day NW to talk about MS Walk and the impact it will have on people with the disease.

Walk MS: Seattle, Sun Apr 8th at University of Washington. 5k run starts at 8AM, Walk starts at 10AM. Go to www.walkMS.org to register and participate!
