The burgers from Stacks are ground beef masterpieces

The burgers are locally sourced and feature ingredients from the Pacific Northwest.

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Building a better burger is a tough thing to do, but that's exactly the mission that started the popular food truck, Stacks.

"That was our whole premises to starting Stacks was to give something that was different and unique and it fit the flavors of this area,” said Gilbert Trujillo.

And those flavors start with ingredients right from our own backyard.

"We use locally sourced Washington based ingredients. Our beef is from Double R ranch. We use grass fed hormone free beef. We locally sourced our buns. They are baked fresh in Federal Way."

They've got lots of burgers to pick from, but if you're a beginner, start with "The Stack".

"The Stack is our basic burger. It's got our Double R ranch beef, cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, and our signature Stack sauce."

Like your burgers on the spicy side? They've got one worth shedding tears for.

"The Cryfecta is our spicy flavor. It's got a jalapeno aioli, fresh jalapeno, it's got arugula, pepper jack cheese, so it makes you tear up a little bit."

But if you want to go all in, you better call on, The King.

"The King is a little more unique. It was inspired by ‘The King’ himself Elvis Presley. It's got peanut butter and some fresh raspberry jam that we put on there so it sounds interesting. We tell people what's on it and they kind of go, ‘ok.’ But the sweet and savory just works."

if you're looking for a burger that towers over others, Stacks, sets their burger bar deliciously high.
