Families in recovery get their own special Easter outfits at Hope Place

It's an Easter tradition to wear your "Sunday best."

This year, 100 women and kids in need will be able to do just that.

Wardrobe stylist Darcy Camden gathered 100 unique outfits for residents of Hope Place - a women and children's shelter and addiction recovery program.

Then, a team of fashion bloggers came together to help style the moms and their kids.

It was the first Easter outfit some of them have ever owned.

"They're coming out of the dressing rooms and their shoulders are back because they're feeling confident and excited and you can just tell they feel really pretty, which is what I was hoping they'd feel - that is an indescribable joy for me,” said Camden.

"I got a round of applause when I came out, so I was like ‘owww,’ but you know, it felt really good, I felt confident, beautiful, inside and out,” said Hope Place resident Domonique White.

"I love that it was a gift from somebody's heart. I love that they felt convicted to do this for us at Hope Place,” said resident Tyra Kusack.

Styled Seattle and Gossip and Glamour made this event possible.
