Time is out with its annual list of the year's most influential teens, and a slew of stars are mixing it up with Olympians, entrepreneurs and one Nobel laureate.
Among the entertainers: Dancer and Sia mini-me Maddie Ziegler, Disney Channel star Skai Jacksonand Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo, who are all 14; Black-ish actress Yara Shahidi, 16; Amandla Stenberg, 17; Jaden Smith, 18; singer Shawn Mendes, 18.
Among those stars about to age out of the list: Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams,Chloë Grace Moretz, Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello and Kylie Jenner, all 19.
A trio of Olympians also made the cut. They are 16-year-old Laurie Hernandez and 19-year-old Simone Biles, both members of the gold-medal-winning Final Five gymnastics squad; and 18-year-old swimmer Katie Ledecky, who earned five medals, all before starting her freshman year at Stanford. Time also recognized Refugee Olympic Team member Yusra Mardini, 18, who went from pulling a raft full of fellow Syrian refugees to safety to swimming in the Olympics.
Fifteen-year-old Sasha Obama and her 18-year-old sister Malia shared a spot.
Other influencers includ 17-year-old high schooler James Charles, who made history as CoverGirl's first Cover Boy; plus-size model Barbie Ferreira, 19, and female education advocate Malala Yousafzai, who became the youngest Nobel laureate in history when she won the peace prize at age 17 two years ago.
