Politics touches just about every aspect of life, which is why the public deserves in depth and understandable political coverage.

In order to become a better political reporter and watchdog journalist, Natalie Brand returned to school as a mid-career student and received a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Prior to grad school, she worked in broadcast news for over a decade, in markets including Phoenix, Portland and Palm Springs.

She's won multiple awards for breaking news coverage, including a Golden Mike, Regional Edward R. Murrow and an Associated Press Television-Radio Association (APTRA) award.

She was named APTRA Reporter of the Year in Palm Springs in 2009.

Natalie won a regional Emmy for political reporting for her coverage of the 2016 presidential race.

Natalie also serves as national media council director for the National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation, in an effort to raise awareness about the fight against human trafficking.
