PORTLAND - An overwhelmed dog breeder in the St. Helens area has given more than three dozen Goldendoodle and Labradoodle dogs - including 25 puppies - to the Oregon Humane Society.
Faced with the prospect of housing the dogs through the winter in a building with no heat or running water, the breeder turned to the Humane Society to help find new homes for the animals.

All the puppies and adults dogs, including a mother with seven three-day-old pups, will receive medical attention and be offered for adoption as soon as possible.
Most of the 40 dogs are Goldendoodles and Labradoodles, which are a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle or a Golden Retriever and a Poodle.
