Natasha Ryan moved across the country to come to KING 5.
She joined the station as a reporter in January of 2011 from Roanoke, Va., and now co-anchors the Weekend Morning News.
Natasha's not a stranger to the Northwest. She graduated high school in Mountain Home, Idaho but went back east to attend Penn State.
It was in central Pennsylvania Natasha started her television career at WJAC. She served as the Blair County Bureau Chief and weekend anchor.
Her next stop was in Roanoke, VA where she anchored the 10 and 11 o'clock newscasts.
While in Virginia, Natasha covered the Virgina Tech shootings and anchored a newscast on a standoff that earned the station an Edward R. Murrow Award.
After being a part of the South for five years, Natasha decided to head back to the West Coast to be a part of KING.
A self-described military brat, she's used to picking up and crossing coasts but has now made Seattle her permanent home.
It is here she met her husband and had her daughter, who has every bit of the same sassy personality.
Natasha's mission while on the air is to keep it real and to expose viewers to fun stories that make the heart smile.
Natasha hopes you'll help in her journey of storytelling. If you have any ideas, please contact Natasha at firstname.lastname@example.org.
